For this special collection mainly submissions of short data papers describing different types of datasets / databases (textual and literary corpora, digital editions, historical gazetteers, epigraphic / archeological / papyrological collections, collections of historical artefacts and records) and computational tools focused on the study of the ancient world (both newly developed tools and new applications of pre-existing tools) are invited. We encourage submissions that promote a view of the ancient world expansive in its geographic, chronological, linguistic, and cultural reach.
