ORCID Open Researcher and Contributor ID

The ORCID ID is an internationally recognised identifier for researchers and links them directly to their research results. It is a unique and persistent identifier that can be used by researchers throughout their career to assign publications, projects, research data, etc. to their person - also after a change of name or affiliation.Use is voluntary, but recommended by the university management.
